The Oscar Knox Cup has raised almost £200,000 for neuroblastoma research since its inception in 2016. Our MD, Aidan McCarthy and Operations Director, Sarah McCarthy, have actively supported and volunteered at the event each year, in memory of Oscar, who sadly passed away at age 5 years old on May 8th May 2014.
Solving Kids’ Cancer is a UK based charity which supports children and families affected by neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer with a particularly poor prognosis. The Oscar Knox Fund is a restricted fund at Solving Kids’ Cancer. It was set up by Oscar’s parents Stephen and Leona, who are passionate about funding and driving forward advances in neuroblastoma research to help ensure that children in the UK and Ireland have access to the best possible treatments available.
